IEEE PDF eXpress Guide

1. Before creating your PDF
- Proofread your source document thoroughly. No revisions should be needed after validation — any change made to the PDF after PDF eXpress conversion (headers, page numbers, copyright notice, watermarks) may invalidate its Xplore compatibility. Add these elements before creating the PDF.
- Add the IEEE copyright notice to the bottom of the first page of your source document. If you are unsure of the correct notice for your paper, contact the organisers at shukorar@utm.my.
- Use the official IEEE conference templates for Word or LaTeX.
2. Create your PDF eXpress account
Log in to the IEEE PDF eXpress site.
First-time users:
- Select Create an account.
- Enter 71370X as the Conference ID, plus your email address and a password.
- Continue as prompted. A confirmation is displayed and emailed to you.
Previous users of PDF eXpress: follow the same steps with your existing password, and verify your contact information is current.
3. Validate your paper
- Either upload your source file for conversion to an IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF, or upload your own PDF for checking.
- You will receive the result by email. Repeat until your paper passes.
- Submit the PDF eXpress-approved PDF as your final manuscript. Do not edit it afterwards.
