Start with Langkawi’s 12-metre eagle monument, then walk the waterfront and nearby Lagenda Park. It is the easiest outing to fit before dinner or after the final session.

Ride from Oriental Village to Machinchang’s summit for wide views across the Andaman Sea, then continue to the curved SkyBridge. Go early and leave buffer time for queues and changing mountain weather.

Travel by boat through mangrove rivers, limestone pinnacles, sea arches and caves. The park protects rare plants and habitat for brahminy kites and sea eagles; choose an operator that keeps a respectful distance from wildlife.

Langkawi’s liveliest beach is an easy evening plan: arrive before sunset, walk the sand, then choose from the cafés and restaurants along Jalan Pantai Cenang.
The venue is in the south-east near Kuah. Eagle Square is the quick local option; the other highlights spread across the island.
