RE-DESIGNING A MEANINGFUL ONLINE LEARNING FOR LEARNERS: WHERE DO WE START AND WHERE DO WE GO?
Online learning is a well-established learning paradigm that has both theoretical and practical appeals. It also became of great interest to practitioners due to the recent emergence needs during the pandemic era. Almost all higher education institutions had instantly shifted their instruction and teaching and learning activities to purely online. Even though online learning has vastly taken place in higher education institutions, lecturers are still in demand to learn how to conduct significant learning activities and practical assessment as well as how to plan their online instruction. In this session, we will discuss the approaches to re-design online learning to ensure that learners could benefit and obtain meaningful learning experiences. The how-tos will be dissected and explained with examples to help the audience grasp the whole idea of re-designing online learning and will be able to find their starting point and how to move forward.
